Half-day snowshoe hike

Experience an unforgettable winter adventure with our half-day snowshoe hike, carefully designed to be accessible to the greatest number. On this half-day tour lasting just over 3 hours, I invite you to explore the splendours of Val d’Isère and Tignes for just €45 per person, including equipment, shuttle and homemade snack.

Good physical condition required (able to hike for 2 hours with an elevation gain of 250m)

Snowshoeing is a specific activity that requires quality equipment. It is a matter of your comfort and safety. It is necessary to have very good walking shoes: warm, waterproof, ankle-high, and relatively stiff. In order to hike in good conditions, I encourage you to rent a suitable pair of shoes at the Mountain Pro Shop (the meeting point for our outings). Feel free to arrive early or rent your shoes the evening before for the next day! Comfort and technical performance guaranteed.

An accessible and personalised experience

This outing is your chance to touch the summits and admire the majesty of the Alpine winter. As a Mountain Leader based in Val d’Isère, I’ll take you through breathtaking scenery, offering breathtaking views of the immaculate peaks of our valley. Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned hiker, this outing is designed to provide pleasure, a change of scenery and good humour.

Enchanted itineraries

I propose several itineraries departing from Val d’Isère, each revealing the wonders of our region. At the height of the season, when snow conditions are good, it’s possible to do 5 or 6 different outings (for walkers in good physical condition).

Examples of outings :

The Chevril sector: from the Tignes dam, let’s climb up to discover a wild and unspoilt sector… under the eye of the chamois!

Le Villaret des Brévières: This itinerary is modular, so we can adjust the difficulty according to each person’s ability. We’ll cross larch forests and snowfields, with magnificent panoramic views of the Grande Casse and Grand Motte peaks…

Of course, there are other areas to discover! There’s something for everyone, whether you’re looking to observe wildlife, landscapes or our Savoyard heritage!
